Help us Raise Funding for New Hot Boxes
What is a Hot Box?
A Hot Box is a box that provides a temperature controlled environment with air filtration, ventilation and humidity. It’s a little ICU. Our wildlife carers use Hot Boxes for baby birds and baby mammals, as well as for sick and injured animals.
Why we need your help?
Baby Bird Season is extra busy this year and our Wildlife Carers need more Hot Boxes to care for all the baby birds coming into our centre every day. Recently we had 15 admissions in one day and we currently have 100 animals in care. Hot Boxes are a vital piece of equipment to help these animals return to their natural habitats.
Our Mission
Wildlife Animal Sanctuary
The Mandurah Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is dedicated to rehabilitating injured, orphaned and sick native animals with the aim of returning them to the wild.
Working with our local vets, our wonderful team of volunteers care for birds, reptiles, and marsupials 365 days a year.
We are a centre of excellence in the care of native animals and educate the Peel region in the care of local wildlife.
